On November 27, the 17th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) opened in Nanning, Guangxi, China. Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a video speech at the opening conference. Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, attended the opening ceremony and other activities. Yan Hao, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pacific Construction and Yan Xin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Susun Group, attended the opening meeting with the core senior management team. After the opening ceremony, Yang Jiechi and his entourage inspected the booth of Pacific Construction and had a cordial exchange with Yan Hao and Yan Xin.
  This year marks the 10th anniversary of the completion of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, the year of China-ASEAN Digital Economic Cooperation, and coincides with the signing of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which is a milestone in the process of China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation.
  Xi Jinping said in his speech: Under the new circumstances, China continues to regard ASEAN as a priority in its neighborhood diplomacy and a key region in high-quality “Belt and Road” cooperation. China supports ASEAN's community-building, supports ASEAN centrality in East Asian cooperation, and supports ASEAN in playing a bigger role in building an open and inclusive regional architecture.
  China will work with ASEAN to advance our wide-ranging cooperation in the coming five years in line with the Plan of Action to Implement the Joint Declaration on China-ASEAN Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity (2021-2025). China will also work with ASEAN to implement the China-ASEAN Joint Statement on Synergizing the Belt and Road Initiative and the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity 2025. To be specific, more efforts will be made to build the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, strengthen cooperation on infrastructure connectivity including railways, highways, ports, airports, power and communications, speed up the development of existing economic corridors and key projects, and continue to develop the China-ASEAN Multimodal Transport Alliance.
  The CAEXPO and CABIS are a results-oriented platform for us to advance regional economic integration. I hope this year's gathering will enable China and ASEAN countries to find more business opportunities, reap more fruits, and usher in a brighter future of prosperity.
  Lao Prime Minister Thong Lun, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Indonesian President Joko, Myanmar President U Win Min, Philippine President Duterte, Thai Prime Minister Prayut, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Pakistani President Arif Alvi, and ASEAN Secretary-General Lin Yuhui also posted videos to give speeches.
  After the opening ceremony, Yang Jiechi, accompanied by Lu Xinshe, Party Secretary of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Lan Tianli, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Acting Chairman of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, inspected the Pacific Construction booth in the main exhibition hall of the Expo.
  Yan Hao gave a detailed introduction to Yang Jiechi and his entourage based on the booth layout. Yan Hao stated that Pacific Construction is proactively and unremittingly striving with the positive energy of "dedication, dedication, progress, and goodness", with the craftsman spirit of "wisdom, conscience, hardship and loss", the enterprise is committed to building a century-old establishment, always "using one's own absolute integrity in exchange for the relative integrity of the other", and staying with the partner all the way through ups and downs.
  In front of the international exhibition board, Yan Hao focused on the progress of the group in the ASEAN market in recent years. He said that, relying on Guangxi's status as a gateway and the role of a platform for the China-ASEAN Expo, we regard the 10 ASEAN countries as the group's “going out” cooperation plateau, actively visit and talk with leaders of Myanmar, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and other countries, which has pragmatically promoted a series of cooperation projects with high starting point, new models, and good social benefits to be implemented, deepening the ASEAN "friend circle". As the chief strategic partner of the China-ASEAN Expo, we are willing to continue to use the China-ASEAN Expo, a grand international economic and trade exchange event, to further leverage the comparative advantages of the mechanism and system of Chinese private enterprises, participate in the infrastructure construction of the 10 ASEAN countries in depth, and help China-ASEAN Regional economic and trade cooperation move towards a higher level.
  In front of the corporate wall of glory, Yang Jiechi stopped and watched carefully. According to Yan Hao, in the process of building a century-old establishment, Pacific Construction has always been committed to building its external reputation, and has received thousands of letters of commendation and thanks from governments at all levels of province, city, county and other ASEAN countries. We use the "triad" to accurately alleviate poverty during the 13th Five-Year Plan. In the construction and operation of the project, benefiting the local government to the greatest extent, and implementing an annualized capital occupancy rate of 2.75% for all national-level poverty-stricken counties. The return on investment is not pursued, which greatly reduces the comprehensive construction cost of governments at all levels. Through high-standard project construction and tangible social responsibility practice, word-of-mouth has truly been transferred from the national, provincial, and municipal levels to the actual implementation of the grassroots government. In this regard, Yang Jiechi expressed a high degree of recognition.
  In combination with the center area of the booth, Yan Hao showed Yang Jiechi and his entourage the nine major organizational platforms with Pacific Construction as the core. He said that the enterprise proposes the nine platforms from the height of the strategy for the future, from the era of infrastructure construction 1.0 to the era of urbanization integrated operation 2.0. This is not only the internal requirement for enterprise transformation and upgrade, but also one of the active innovations that follow the national strategy and meet market demand. In the 2.0 era, Pacific Construction will use the "intelligence" of artificial intelligence + infrastructure to build new infrastructure through the entire industrial chain layout and multi-brand operation, and actively participate in the traditional infrastructure and the "Two New and One Heavy" construction.
  Before the market board, Yan Hao reported to Yang Jiechi and his entourage on the Guangxi market. He introduced that under the new development pattern, Pacific Construction took Guangxi as a key strategic market and basically achieved full coverage of investment and construction. In the future, it will actively participate in the construction of the new western land-sea corridor and the North Bay Economic Zone, and will accurately connect with the "Urbanization Integrated Operation 2.0" program to participate in the construction of the two bays in an all-round and high-level manner and promote the complementary integration of the two bays.
  Lu Xinshe praised the enterprise's investment and construction achievements in Guangxi. He introduced that Pacific Construction came to Guangxi in 2017. Since signing an investment agreement of 450 billion yuan with the People's Government of the Autonomous Region, the two sides have cooperated closely and fruitfully in the past three years. Yang Jiechi fully recognized the strategic positioning and layout of Pacific Construction in the Guangxi market, and praised "You are very insightful, and you have made the right call choosing Guangxi!"
 During the visit, Yang Jiechi expressed great concern about the development of the enterprise and was full of confidence and expectation for the future of Pacific Construction.
