Yan started his talk from the international market. He said that people who achieve big success are those who “make friends first, and do business later”. They focus not only on the immediate interests, but also on the future market. He said our projects in Vietnam, Myanmar , Thailand, Cambodia and Malaysia have been fully started in 2019 and will be further pushed in 2020. In particular, during Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad’s visit to China, Yan and H.E. PM had in-depth exchanges.Through the implementation of a series of international projects, CPCG will become one of the most competitive private enterprise in infrastructure industry worldwide. He pointed out that greatness is out of hard work, but it does not mean that all the hard working people can be great; all that is extraordinary is simple, but it does not mean that all that is simple is extraordinary.
Yan Jiehe said that through Chinese five-thousand-year history always those who are indifferent to fame and fortune gain fame and fortune. How can one talk about fame and fortune when one does not have them. Pride stimulates people to grow while modesty breeds maturity. It is always those who matter are inclined to be modesty. Spike of rice gets bent when it gets ripe. I, known as the first madman in China, am not anymore mad.
Yan’s speech was simple but profound. The audience expressed their interest and benefited a lot. At the end of the speech, the applause burst out and lasted for a long time.
