On the afternoon of Sept. 21, 2019, the first China-ASEAN Private Entrepreneurs Summit, co-sponsored by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, was held in Nanning.
  Chen Wu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Chairman of the People's Government of Guangxi, held a discussion with leaders of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and well-known private entrepreneurs from China and ASEAN. Qiu Xiaoping, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Qin Rupei, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of Guangxi and Executive Vice Chairman of Guangxi, and Xie Wudi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Cambodian Development Council, addressed the opening ceremony respectively. Zhang Xiaoqin, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Guangxi, Mo Changying, Deputy Chairman of the CPPCC, and Huang Zhou, Secretary-General of the Government of Guangxi attended relevant activities.Yan Hao was invited to attend the event and delivered a concluding speech on the theme of “Development path of China's private enterprises under the framework of China-ASEAN cooperation”.
  Chen congratulated on the success of the first China-ASEAN Private Entrepreneurs Summit. He said, Guangxi now was in a critical period of accelerated development with series major opportunities such as the Master Plan for New Land-Sea Channel in the West, Master Plan for China - ASEAN Information Port Construction and to set up China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Area, which contains valuable investment opportunities.
  Chen Wu expected that the enterprises could focus on and invest in Guangxi, to seize the good opportunities in development of Guangx and to achieve transformation and upgrading by introducing more industries and projects to Guangxi; that entrepreneurs could make use of their relations , information and resources to actively promote Guangxi, give full play to the role of bridge and to introduce more large enterprises and more advanced technology and high-end talents to Guangxi; that enterprises will give full play to their advantages and actively participate in public welfare undertakings and poverty alleviation work in Guangxi, so as to help poor farmers get rich as soon as possible. Guangxi will carefully benchmark the international standards and the advanced regions, spare no efforts to create a first-class business environment, and provide high-quality and efficient services to private enterprises.
   In his keynote speech, Yan Hao said that over the past 30 years, CPCG has grown bigger and stronger along with the reform and opening up. Relying on the policy dividends and guarantees of “market economy and law-based governance”, CPCG firmly grasped the opportunities of urbanization construction and embarked on a road of exploration, innovation and struggle with the unique DNA of CPCG. In recent years, CPCG has been precisely following overall situation of China’s national development, taking the lead in participating in the “Belt and Road” building, and has always regarded Guangxi as its primary strategic market, and the 10 ASEAN countries as its first choice for internationalization strategy.
  Yan pointed out that since the establishment of the strategic cooperative partnership with Guangxi in 2017, CPCG has worked with local governments at all levels to build benchmark projects benefiting people's livelihood with high standards, high specifications and high quality, which have won the public praise and wide recognition from governments at all levels. Meanwhile, its core team frequently visited Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar  and other ASEAN countries and has completed the acquisition of Malaysia local construction enterprises, and the strategic layout such as setting up its ASEAN headquarters. A series of projects with high starting points, new models and good overall social benefits are progressing in an orderly manner.
  Yan stressed that with the smooth implementation of major policies such as Master Plan for New Land-Sea Channel in the West and the Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Area, Guangxi is now facing unprecedented development opportunities. As strategic partners, CPCG is willing to continue to give full play to its advantages of “resource, wisdom, capital”, to positively cooperate with the 10 ASEAN countries and Guangdong market as well, to assist Guangxi to improve its multidimensional traffic system, speed up its comprehensive opening up by integrating into the Guangdong-Hongkong-Makao Greater Bay Area in the east and the ASEAN market in the south. We will never forget our original intention and take the initiative to play the leading role of private enterprises in building the new land-sea channel in the west, and make more positive contributions to the building of China-ASEAN community of shared future.
 In the subsequent discussion session, private entrepreneurs made suggestions on the development of Guangxi.Yan Hao said that CPCG has comprehensively entered the Guangxi market in less than two years and invested in 196 projects across Guangxi’s whole 111 counties of 69 counties, from which we not only gained the achievements market economy growth, but also attained a sense of security from the rule of law. Since the China-Asean Expo last year, we increased our exchanges and cooperation with the 10 ASEAN countries and fully felt the huge potential of the ASEAN market.Taking the examples of entrepreneurs around him, Yan Hao said that many Chinese enterprises took Guangxi as the bridgehead into the ASEAN market fully shows that it is the choice of market. Guangxi's business environment and talent structure have its own unique advantages that he believes the future of Guangxi will be more beautiful.
