Group Profile
China Pacific Construction Group was founded in 1986 with its predecessor called Huai’an YinJiang Construction Co,. Ltd (referred to as YinJiang Company). In 1995, YinJiang Company evolved into a large-scale group and was officially renamed China Pacific Construction Group (CPCG). In 2013, two sub-groups of CPCG has been established -- Susun Group and Hua Tuo Group. Till then, the Su-Tai-Hua Cluster (the acronym of the three groups Chinese name) has come into being with CPCG as the cluster’s carrier, and Susun Group and Hua Tuo Group as frigate.
Over the three decades, CPCG has taken infrastructural investment, construction and management as its core business. It is China’s largest city operator with many a Class A professional contracting qualification and multiple general contracting qualification in sectors of national highway, municipal construction, water conservancy, building and landscape design. CPCG has been listed on the Fortune Global 500 Enterprises, ranking 96th in 2018 and topping the private construction sector worldwide.
CPCG initiated the BT model and participated in the construction of more than 1000 cities and 3000 industrial parks by applying the models of BT, BTO, EPC and PPP. CPCG has successively engaged in projects across China including Shanghai-Nanjing, Shanghai-Zhuhai, Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Hong Kong and Lianyungang-Khorgos highways, as well as national and provincial key projects such as Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge, Nanjing Metro, Taihu Lake Renovation, Lanzhou New District, Haidong New Town in Dali, Lanzhou New Town and Central Yunnan Industrial District, Gui An New Area, Zhao Qing New Area, Jin Pu New Area in Dalian, Mei An Scientific and Technological New Area in Hainan Province. The Group is focused on national poverty alleviation. We have taken the precise-targeted measures to help those underdeveloped areas such as Liangshan Prefecture in Sichuan, Xiangxi Prefecture in Hunan and Dali Prefecture in Yunnan.
In response to the Belt and Road Initiative, CPCG has moved its headquarters to Xinjiang Autonomous Region and get involved in the building of Silk Road Economic Belt core zone. The group also expands its presence in Guangxi Autonomous Region and supports it to be a vital hub for the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. With its focus on Shaanxi, Yunnan and Hainan, CPCG is committed to the investment, construction and development of cities along the routes. Against the backdrop of poverty alleviation and the Belt and Road Initiative, the total orders of CPCG has exceeded 1 trillion RMB.
With the expansion in domestic market, CPCG starts to explore its way into the international market, especially the negotiation and cooperation with countries, along the routes of the Belt and Road, in southeast Asian, central and west Asian ,CEE and Africa. Based on the platform of China-ASEAN Expo, CPCG facilitates its cooperation with the ten ASEAN countries; its metro and highway projects cooperating with Ukraine and Iran are on smooth operation, of particular note, the Kiev metro project, jointly undertaken with China Railway International Group, ushers a new model for cross-border cooperation between state-owned and private companies.
CPCG, starting from canals, going global through the Yangtze River and the Pacific Ocean, keeps on advancing, heading from the Pacific Construction to constructing the Pacific.
