The Lanzhou New city, located at Qingbaishi District of Lanzhou City, with an investment of over 20 billion RMB for Phase One, which moved more than 700 hills entirely by reclamation, making a new area of about 160 square kilometers in the northeast sector at Chengguan District of Lanzhou city. The CPCG is the major investment and construction unit of this program, which is divided into three parts, namely moving mountains, municipal construction, and urban public service, such as the construction and improvement of urban functions. The development project of unused land such as mild slope and low hills in Baidaoping Area, Chengguan District of Lanzhou New City, starting from planning Baolan second tier in East (Tuquan Gou) to Yanshi Road in West; starting from the planning North Expressway (Shajin Ping) in South, to the Watershed in North (buckwheat beam), is an area of about 25 square kilometers. The implementation of the construction has significant meaning for further excavating and vitalizing wasteland resources in Lanzhou, expanding urban construction and development space, rational planning of the city, and transforming industrial structure. The commencement of project of Lanzhou New City plays an important role in accelerating the development of itself as a western city.
