On November 15, at the invitation of Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai, Yan Jiehe, chairman of Zhuangyan Think Tank, led a delegation to hold friendly exchanges with Ambassador Pham Sao Mai at the Vietnam Embassy in China on infrastructure investment and construction in Vietnam. Both sides frankly discussed their national feelings, deep friendship between China and Vietnam, and opportunities for future cooperation.
   Yan Jiehe pointed out that Zhuangyan Think Tank currently owns two Fortune Global 500 associates, China Pacific Construction Group (CPCG) and Susun Group. It plans to have a third associate, Zhuangyan Group, to be selected on the Fortune Global 500 list by 2029. The company’s global investment will mainly go to China and Vietnam. In addition to cheap capital, it will also bring international resources and wisdom to Vietnam. Every big deal starts from a sound friendship. He said the company will give up on what is popular and easy-handling in Vietnam while embracing what is desirable but daunting in the country. The company is willing to devote absolute integrity to Vietnam in exchange for its relative integrity. He was confident about the company’s high reputation in doing business worldwide even compared with those in Japan and South Korea.
   Ambassador Pham Sao Mai expressed gratitude to Mr. Yan Jiehe for his high praise of Vietnam’s economy and his valuable suggestions on the country’s development. He said that Vietnam and China have maintained good-neighborly relations and kept making breakthroughs in economic and trade cooperation, while having great potential for cooperation in the field of infrastructure. He invited Mr. Yan Jiehe to visit Vietnam to inspect local investment conditions and promised to actively make reasonable plans for his trip. He would also report Mr. Yan’s proposals to the Vietnam government and work to facilitate the development of Zhuangyan Think Tank in Vietnam. He expressed the hope that the think tank would unswervingly promote Vietnam’s development with persistent enthusiasm by leveraging the vision and resources of Fortune Global 500 companies, thus fostering more investment hotspots and economic growth poles for the country’s economic and social development.
